Allied Waste provides and services debris boxes in sizes ranging from
10 to 40 cubic yards. These boxes are for residential and commercial customers
who need large containers to handle extra trash from a special event or
project or debris from remodeling and construction work. The largest size
for concrete, asphalt, dirt, and rocks is 10 yards.
These boxes require a minimum of a twice-a-month servcie, a contract and
prepayment are:
- Suitable for companies that generate a large amount of material that
would require too frequent service of bins or carts.
- Picked up and delivered by roll-off collection vehicles equipped with
a hoist to lower and raise the container onto the bed of the vehicle
for transport.
- Suitable for refuse, recyclables, mixed construction and demolition
debris and yard waste.
Do's:
- Distribute the weight evenly throughout the container.
- Load only to the top edge of the sides and not beyond.
- Cover the container and protect contents from rain and moisture
- Keep the container accessible to the loading truck when it is ready
to be picked up.
- Call ahead by one business day if you want to cancel a scheduled drop-off
pickup of the container.
Don'ts:
- Do not overfill container. Contents cannot rise over the sides.
- Do not load from just one side. Doing so might distribute the weight
unevenly.
- Do not load medical wastes, pain, bulk liquid, materials laced with
asbestos or any other hazardous wastes.
- Do not load computer monitors or TV sets. They contain hazardous materials.
